Administrative Law Appeals
Related Areas
HWG lawyers routinely represent clients in cases involving judicial review of federal government regulations, both challenging agency actions and intervening (or filing amicus briefs) to help defend them.
We have extensive experience in the D.C. Circuit, where we have successfully litigated numerous administrative cases, including both merits issues and the complex questions of federal jurisdiction that often arise in such cases. And we have, of course, also briefed and argued administrative cases in the Supreme Court and many other federal courts of appeals.
HWG’s lawyers include former general counsels of the FCC and the DOE—as well as other former agency lawyers at every level—who are intimately familiar with the procedural and substantive aspects of both appealing agency decisions and of intervening on behalf of the agency. Our Issues + Appeals lawyers also have extensive experience teaching on topics relating to judicial review of administrative decisions, which helps us to stay abreast of develops in the law.
