Neile Miller, a former senior executive at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), has extensive expertise in federal funding and contracting, energy policy, and nuclear security and safety experience.

Neile served as the acting Undersecretary of Energy for Nuclear Security and as the Principal Deputy Administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration, an agency within DOE responsible for overseeing the nation’s nuclear security complex. She designed and led the organizational and operational transformation of the U.S. nuclear weapons enterprise, for which she received awards from both the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Energy for Outstanding Public Service.

Neile also has served as the DOE budget director, responsible for managing the agency’s $31 billion annual budget. While at DOE, Neile appointed by the Secretary of Energy to the Credit Review Board and the Risk and Credit Committees of DOE’s Loan Programs. She has also held several senior management positions within the DOE Office of Nuclear Energy.

Neile served two tours at the White House Office of Management and Budget, responsible for programs at DOE, the Department of Defense, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

In the private sector, Neile has provided strategic insight and performed business development services for multiple firms in the federal sector with interests across federal programs. She has guided clients through periods of change, advising senior management on opportunities for growth, and priorities for organizational development and resource management.
