On October 31, HWG will host its Annual Ethics Program, a webinar featuring three one-hour presentations that have been approved for Virginia and North Carolina CLE Ethics credit.  

Each presentation will explore a different realm of legal ethics:  

Mark D. Davis and Grace Wynn will present Recent Developments and Hot Topics in Legal Ethics,” discussing the implications of the latest decisions and opinions on legal ethics and the ethical use of AI. 

Patrick O’Donnell and Courtney Miller will present “Navigating Challenging Conflicts Scenarios: Thrust-Upon Conflicts and the Hot Potato Doctrine,” exploring the intricacies of the ”Hot Potato” and the ”Thrust-Upon” doctrines and sharing guidelines on how to maneuver related conflicts. 

Jared P. Marx and Thomas B. Mason will present “Fees: All About Getting Paid Ethically,” highlighting the rules of the fee-setting process and how to ethically navigate various fee-related scenarios.
