HWG is pleased to announce our recognition once again in the Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll by the District of Columbia Courts. This distinction underscores our firm’s commitment to pro bono services and ongoing efforts to ensure equal access to justice for all.
The Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll, a commendable initiative led by the D.C. Courts, the D.C. Access to Justice Commission, and the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center, acknowledges attorneys who dedicate 50 hours or more annually to pro bono work, thereby championing access to justice for those in need. In 2023, over 5,000 attorneys participated, collectively offering nearly 400,000 hours of assistance. Of these, 2,823 attorneys (56%) provided 100 hours or more of pro bono service, qualifying for the esteemed high honor roll.
