Annick Banoun is an associate at HWG LLP, where she advises clients on telecommunications, media, and privacy law.
Before joining HWG, Annick served as an Honors Attorney Advisor at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the Competition Policy Division of the Wireline Competition Bureau. At the FCC, she worked on regulatory issues, including wireline transactions, the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program, call-spoofing and STIR/SHAKEN implementation, multiple tenant environments, broadband infrastructure, and net neutrality.
Annick received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. During law school, she interned at the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, CBS Television, and the Public Broadcasting Service.
Annick received her B.A. from Barnard College, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, and her M.S. in Special Education from Hunter College. Prior to law school, she taught middle school students in the South Bronx through Teach for America.
