Seth Ismail focuses his practice on telecommunications, AI & emerging technologies, and data privacy.
Before joining HWG LLP, Seth served as a Senior Legislative Assistant for Representative James E. Clyburn, where he advised on telecommunications, technology, and manufacturing policy during the enactment of the American Rescue Plan Act, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act.
While in law school, Seth served as a consultant at the White House Office of Science Technology Policy, focusing on the implementation of the National Spectrum Strategy. Subsequently, Seth worked as an independent consultant for an internet service provider, providing research and analysis on state and local permitting.
Seth received his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a member of the school’s evening program. Seth received his B.S.B.A, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina.
