Washington, D.C. (May 4, 2026) – HWG LLP is pleased to announce that Katie Weng has joined the firm as an associate. Katie focuses her practice on litigation and investigations, with experience spanning matters involving constitutional and administrative law, cross-border fraud, and products liability.

“Katie’s broad background in complex litigation and high-pressure disputes makes her a valuable addition to HWG,” said HWG Chair John Nakahata. “We look forward to welcoming her to the firm and supporting her ongoing development within our Litigation and Investigations and overall team.”

Before joining HWG, Katie was an associate at a global law firm, where she handled various cases in federal and state courts.

She earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was an Articles Editor for the Columbia Human Rights Law Review and a member of the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic. She received her B.A. from University of Maryland, College Park
