On May 14, Kristine L. Devine will speak on the panel “Getting Your Bills Right: Real World Help with Invoice Presentation of Telecom Tax and Fee Line Items,” at Telestrategies’ 2025 Communications Taxation Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.  

Kristine will discuss strategies to avoid pitfalls in presenting telecom regulatory fee line items, highlighting risks related to the FCC’s Universal Service Fund pass-through and truth-in-billing rules and other relevant subjects. She will discuss reporting and collection of regulatory fees, how they are affected by recent FCC changes, and ways to navigate them.  

Kristine’s practice focuses on communications agreements and transactions, and regulatory advocacy and compliance. She has extensive experience preparing and negotiating agreements for telecommunications companies, assisting clients in meeting their compliance obligations, and has represented clients before federal agencies and state regulatory bodies.
