We are excited to announce that Hilary P. Gerzhoy was appointed to the American Bar Association (ABA)’s Ethics Series Advisory Board and gave the inaugural presentation, “Using Artificial Intelligence Ethically.” This presentation explored ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct relevant for attorneys utilizing Artificial Intelligence in their practice.
Hilary is the Vice Chair of HWG’s legal ethics and malpractice group, Vice Chair of the D.C. Bar’s Rules of Professional Conduct Review Committee, a member of the ABA’s Standing Committee on Legal Ethics, an adjunct law professor at Georgetown where she teaches legal ethics, and a member of Law360’s Legal Ethics Editorial Advisory Board.
The ABA is the largest voluntary professional association in the world, founded in 1878 to establish the foundation of American law and ethics. The ABA’s activities include establishing ethical standards for attorneys, accrediting law schools, and providing continuing legal education.
