On March 18, Tricia J. Paoletta will participate in the Technology Policy Institute (TPI)’s 2025 Winter Spectrum Series on International Spectrum Leadership exploring the United States’ crucial role in shaping the global spectrum landscape.  

The panel will highlight cross-border coordination challenges, international spectrum harmonization needs, and the effects of global technology standards on spectrum allocation. As a panelist, Tricia will partake in discussing strategies for maintaining U.S. spectrum leadership and the importance of effective preparation for WRC-27 under a new administration, as well as examining the evolution of U.S. international spectrum policy.  

Tricia’s practice focuses on digital infrastructure, trade, and technology policy. She primarily works with providers of digital infrastructure, including mobile broadband, cloud, and satellite. Tricia has experience providing advice on regulatory, trade, and legislative policy in addition to advising broadband service providers on compliance and policy issues related to emerging technology.  

TPI serves to advance knowledge and inform policymakers on the economics behind innovation, technological change, and related regulation by producing research, sponsoring educational programs, and raising awareness of issues affecting information technology and communications policy.
