On January 22, Thomas B. Mason presented the D.C. Bar CLE, “Fees: All About Getting Paid Ethically,” sharing insights on ethical considerations related to attorney fees and client relationships. Tom discussed fee setting, agreement management, and addressing fee-related challenges throughout the stages of client representation.  

Tom Mason is the founder of HWG’s Legal Ethics and Malpractice group and has experience in malpractice and disqualification litigation, disciplinary investigations and prosecutions, partner admissions and departures, and law firm dissolutions. He is a past Chair of the D.C. Bar Legal Ethics and Rules Revisions Committees.
