On January 8, Thomas B. Mason presented the D.C. Bar webinar, “Leaving Government Employment: Ethics Issues for Attorneys – Including the Biden Ethics Pledge,” discussing important ethics rules for attorneys leaving government employment for the private sector.
Tom highlighted the constraints for former government attorneys seeking jobs in the private sector, affecting who they can work with and the type of work they can do. He shared relevant scenarios exemplifying these considerations and emphasized attorneys’ mandatory compliance with federal statutes and ethics rules.
