On October 15, Mark D. Davis taught “Appellate Ethics” as part of the D.C. Bar’s annual course on appellate advocacy. The seminar explored the sources of ethics law in appellate practice, common issues that arise appeals, and best practices to ensure ethical conduct in appellate matters.
Mark Davis is a partner at HWG, LLP, and also serves as the firm’s General Counsel. As a litigator, he represents clients in judicial and regulatory proceedings. In addition, he regularly represents clients in matters related to legal ethics, malpractice, and compliance with professional obligations.
