On October 15, Christopher J. Wright will serve as a panelist on the D.C. Bar CLE, “Appellate Advocacy 2024,” sharing insight on how to successfully navigate oral argument.
The all-day CLE will cover common issues and opportunities that appellate practitioners face, featuring experienced appellate judges who will share their perspectives and tips on how to avoid common mistakes in briefing and arguing appeals. Chris will contribute to the panel on best practices for preparing for and conducting oral argument.
Chris has argued 28 cases in the Supreme Court and about 50 in the federal courts of appeals. Prior to joining HWG, Chris served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Burger and as General Counsel of the FCC. He is a former president of the Edward Coke Appellate Inn of Court.
