On September 27, Hilary P. Gerzhoy will speak at the National Association of Legal Search Consultants (NALSC) Fall Symposium, exploring strategies for complying with ethical rules when navigating lateral partner and group moves, including responding to bonus and distribution claw back attempts and interacting with clients.
Hilary is the Vice Chair of HWG’s Legal Ethics and Malpractice Group. She represents lawyers and law firms in disciplinary investigations, prosecutions, and malpractice matters, and represents plaintiffs and defendants in civil and criminal litigation. Hilary is Vice Chair of the D.C. Rules Committee, teaches legal ethics at the Georgetown University Law Center, and serves on Law360′s Legal Ethics Editorial Advisory Board.
The NALSC was founded in 1984 to elevate the legal search profession by encouraging productive dialogue among legal recruiters and developing consistent and widespread standards. Their activities include supporting ethical practice in the field, providing an educational forum for members, and creating a community for them to learn, socialize, and collectively discuss best practices.
