The Court’s decision affirmed that social media platforms are entitled to First Amendment rights, granting them the editorial discretion to moderate content and effectively combat misinformation.

“While other aspects of the decision are unclear,” stated Chris, “It is very clear from the Supreme Court’s decision that the First Amendment protects social media platforms when they remove dangerous material posted by terrorists, foreign adversaries, or other malign actors.”
