On June 26, Amy E. Richardson and Deepika H. Ravi will present the CLE “Ethical Considerations in Co-Counsel Relationships” for the American Law Institute.
This program will explore:
- How the rules of professional conduct apply to co-counsel relationships
- Best practices to manage ethical and risk management issues
- Confidentiality concerns and what can be shared between counsel
- How to approach fee-sharing and billing agreements
- Why diligence and competence are key
Amy is Chair of the firm’s Legal Ethics and Malpractice group. Her practice focuses on legal ethics and professional responsibility matters, white collar defense, and complex commercial litigation. Amy teaches legal ethics and professional responsibility at Duke University School of Law and Georgetown Law.
Deepika serves as a Vice Chair of the firm’s Legal Ethics and Malpractice group. In her practice, Deepika counsels clients on ethical restrictions on the practice of law, and represents attorneys in disciplinary proceedings. Deepika also serves as an adjunct professor of law, teaching professional responsibility at the Georgetown University Law Center.
