Chambers USA recognized HWG and seven individual HWG lawyers for excellence in its 2023 edition.
HWG received the publication’s top “Band 1” rank in the “Telecom, Broadcast & Satellite” category. Chambers has awarded HWG the top rank in this category every year since the rankings began more than a decade ago. HWG partners Paul Margie, John Nakahata, Mike Nilsson, Bill Wiltshire, and Chris Wright received individual recognition for excellence in the “Telecom, Broadcast & Satellite” category.
Chambers USA also ranked HWG litigators among the leading lawyers in Washington, DC and North Carolina.
Tom Connolly, chair of HWG’s litigation practice, received individual recognition in the Washington, DC “White Collar and Government Investigations” category and in the National “Trial Lawyers” category.
Amy Richardson, founder of the firm’s Raleigh office, received Chambers USA’s top “Band 1” ranking for white collar crime and government investigations in North Carolina for the fourth straight year.
