Keeping Up With Professional Responsibility

On October 13, Deepika Ravi presented the program “From Translation to Technology: Keeping Up With Professional Responsibility” for the Federal Communications Bar Association. The first part of the program addressed the ABA’s recent efforts to address language access requirements, and how those efforts interact with lawyers’ ethical duties of communication, competence, and supervision. The second part of the program explored lawyers’ ethical obligations to understand and use technology in their legal practice.
