On April 13, Patricia Paoletta spoke on Technology Standards and Competitiveness: the Role of International Standards Processes in Promoting U.S. Leadership in Emerging Communications Technologies, a CLE PROGRAM hosted by the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA)’s Engineering and Technical Committee and the International Telecommunications Committee. Tricia’s panel discussed the role of standards bodies in technology development for the digital infrastructure industry, including the International Telecommunication Union and 3GPP, as well as the importance of international standards in promoting U.S. domestic policy interests.
