On October 29, 2021, HWG hosted its annual ethics program for clients and friends of the firm. The 2021 program included three sessions led by members of the firm’s well-known legal ethics and litigation teams.
Deepika Ravi and Lauren Snyder highlighted the ethics rules implicated by remote practice and offered practical tips for compliance in the session “The Ethics of Working From Home.”
Hilary Gerzhoy discussed the ethics rules governing false or misleading statements to the court and the media in offered insight on the ethics rules and misconduct program in the session “Giuliani and ‘Throwing a Fake’: How the Ethics Rules Govern Misleading Conduct.”
John Grimm, Jared Marx, and Charles Loeser focused the practical application of new ethics case law in the day’s final session “Recent Conflict of Interest Decisions.”
