John Amaya Interviewed in Netflix Documentary Immigration Nation

Counsel John Amaya is interviewed in the new Netflix docuseries Immigration Nation released on August 3^rd.  Amaya, who served as Deputy Chief of Staff for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during the Obama Administration, is critical of the Trump Administration policies designed to separate families.

“I’ve seen the gut-wrenching impact of these policies on individual families,” said Amaya, who now counsels clients on immigration and homeland security issues, “The current administration seems determined extract the most possible pain from these families, enacting policies that tear them apart when they are the most vulnerable.  It is unconscionable.”
