Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis LLP announced today that Dr. Rashmi Doshi, the former Chief of
the Office of Engineering and Technology, Laboratory Division of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), has joined the firm as Technology Policy Advisor.

broadband network architecture, to the firm,” said Scott Blake Harris, Chairman of Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis.
“Having led the FCC’s Laboratory Division for nearly two decades, Rashmi will offer our clients unique insight into the FCC’s technical testing and compliance requirements. His experience working with regulators around the world will also help clients navigate these issues globally.”
As Chief of the Laboratory Division, Dr. Doshi was responsible for overseeing technical studies and
designing test procedures for equipment in support of regulatory policies. He also was responsible for management of the equipment authorization program including monitoring Telecom Certification Bodies to ensure compliance with FCC rules.

Prior to his work at the FCC, Dr. Doshi held engineering management positions at several private companies and served as the Executive Director for network architecture at NYNEX (now Verizon) Science and Technology.
Dr. Doshi holds a Ph. D. in Digital Signal Processing from the University of Southampton, England.
