Washington – HWG partner Stephanie Weiner has been named one of DCA Live’s 2020 Emerging Women Leaders in Law in Private Practice.
Ms. Weiner, a member of HWG’s Executive Committee, represents tech and communications clients on complex regulatory issues before the FCC, the Department of Energy, Congress, and state and federal courts. In 2019, she argued in the D.C. Circuit on behalf of major technology trade associations challenging the FCC’s repeal of net neutrality protections.
Ms. Weiner returned to private practice at HWG in 2016 after serving in senior roles at the Federal Communications Commission, the U.S. Department of Energy, and a private technology company.
Nominated by leaders in the Washington legal community, DCA Live’s annual list recognizes women who are emerging as leaders within their firms and the broader legal community.
