HWG Partners Stephanie Weiner and Kristine Devine will present at the upcoming Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA) CLE program “Restoring Freedom: Understanding the Mozilla Opinion and What it Means Going Forward” on Thursday, November 14, 2019.
The program will focus on the impact of the D.C. Circuit in Mozilla v. FCC. The decision, which affirmed much of the FCC’s repeal of the 2015 net neutrality rules, also stuck down the agency’s attempt to preempt state and local neutrality laws. Panelists at the November 14 session will discuss the decision, the net neutrality requirements the states might be able to impose, and the issues remanded back to the FCC.
