The New Yorker quoted HWG counsel John Amaya in an article titled “Kirstjen Nielsen’s Inevitible Resignation from the Department of Homeland Security.”  The article, published in the magazine’s April 9th edition, discusses leadership changes and the nominations process at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Amaya, who represents clients in connection with global immigration, cross-border investigations, and related litigation, served at DHS as Deputy Chief of Staff at ICE before moving into private practice.
