Thomas Mason presented “Issues for In-House Counsel: Attorney-Client Privilege; Social Media and Enforcement Actions” at the American Forest & Paper Association General Counsel’s Meeting. This presentation discussed different aspects of attorney-client privilege – its fundamentals, In-House Counsel privilege trends, conditions for waiver of privilege, and more. The presentation emphasized the importance of having a correct understanding of these concepts in relation to social media, and covered appropriate measures to prepare and respond to enforcement actions on attorney-client privilege issues.
