Today, Twilio Inc. filed an amicus brief with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, supporting legal challenges to the FCC’s repeal of its net neutrality rules.  In its brief, Twilio argues that it invested in reliance on the strong FCC protections for net neutrality.  Moreover, without effective regulation and oversight, Twilio argues that communications providers will block and throttle lawful content and applications where doing so is in their economic interest, as has been the case in the text messaging context.

Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis partner Adrienne Fowler represents Twilio in this action.  A full copy is available here.
