Thomas Mason presents “Another Perspective: Views From Outside the Department of Justice” at the Professional Responsibility Officers’ (PRO) Conference at the National Advocacy Center.
Hosted by the U.S. Department of Justice Executive Office for United States Attorneys Office of Legal Education, the Professional Responsibility Officers’ Conference will provide engaging and interactive presentations on novel, complex and emergent professional responsibility issues that Department attorneys encounter in both civil and criminal matters. The conference will include programs for new Professional Responsibility Officers (PROs), including an introduction to recurrent professional responsibility issues and the role and duties of the PRO. It will incorporate views from the Department’s senior management offices as well as outside perspectives on professional responsibility. It also will explore some of the ways in which professional responsibility issues intersect with substantive law and Department regulations and policy.
