Thomas Mason and Amy Richardson presented “Attorney Malpractice Traps in Employment Law” at the Virginia Bar Annual Conference on Labor Relations and Employment Law.
The presentation discussed how to avoid a claim of legal malpractice in employment law matters and identified common malpractice traps in such matters including: the element of a claim, principles of preventing malpractice, preventing claims, and loss minimization. The presentation also covered substantive examples of common employment law malpractice scenarios.
