Thomas Mason presented “Legal Ethics and Tech in the Corporate Governance Sphere” at The Society for Corporate Governance’s 2017 National Conference.
Presenters combined their backgrounds in data security and legal ethics to discuss the intersection of legal ethics and tech in the corporate governance sphere. The presentation included topics such as threats presented by a data breach of a legal department or outside counsel, ethics rules requirements of in-house and outside counsel, conversations and retention agreement provisions to consider, and options on what to do if data is breached.
